Every time I walk into a DIY store, I am always amazed with the huge selection of the jewelry making supplies they offer. Sometimes I get confuse of what should I get and what are the purpose for each material. So I decided to do a basic introductory post for some common tools and materials to help the beginners. Hopeful this post will be helpful to help you get started.

 

Jewelry Making Pliers Tool Set:

 

 

5-Piece set includes: Flat nose pliers, Bent nose pliers, Long nose pliers, Round nose pliers and Side cutters. They are all purpose for different tasks. Flat nose and long nose pliers are great for securely holding jewelry parts. Bent nose pliers are great to reach into tight spaces. Round nose pliers are perfect for making loops and curls. Remember, you don’t really need to have all of them in order to make your own jewelry, but I think these tools will definitely come in handy in different projects.
