Birth Stone Meanings
A person’s birthstone is the stone that corresponds with their birth month. The stone is often thought to reveal a bit about the personalities of those born within that particular month.
For each of the twelve months, there is a traditional birthstone, as well as a mystical one. There are often several other various stones associated with a particular month.

The emerald belongs to the month of May. Emeralds have a mythical past, being linked to the ability to see the future and cure diseases.
June has the pearl for its birthstone. Pearls have long been the symbol for purity and wholesomeness. They have also said to promote happy marriages.
July claims the ruby as its stone. Rubies are said to protect their wearer and promote harmony.
Peridot is the stone for August. This stone is infamous for protecting against evil and warding off night terrors, as well as enhancing the effect of health remedies.
September claims the sapphire as its birthstone. The sapphire comes with a lore that the more sparkle that radiates from the gem, the more honest and pure the wearer. It is also connected to faith and foresight.
The opal is aligned with the month of October. Opals represent innocence, friendship and emotion.
November’s birthstone is topaz. Topaz is believed to promote sanity and health, and is connected with strength.
Turquoise is the given birthstone for December. This popular stone can be associated with fortune and luck.
